HANDBUILDING

Handbuilding offers a smooth, controlled introductory to working with clay. Using slabs, extruded shapes and pinch techniques, students can express themselves artistically in a variety of ways. So if your' a little apprehensive about working on the potter's wheel, handbuilding is a perfect way for the beginner to familiarize themselves with the characteristics of clay. Every week students create a new and different project. Bring your imagination.

 After completing the 8 week course in handbuilding, many of our students continue the next session exploring wheelthrowing. All repeating students receive a $25 discount.
